Dr. George Shears III
Rev. Dr. George Shears III is a passionate preacher with a powerful voice for this generation. His enthusiasm for Christ is contagious, and his messages are electrifying. He is a sought-after preacher who is known for making it plain. Through sound doctrine and a heart for pastoral care, Pastor Shears shares the Gospel in a way that people of all walks of life can understand.
Pastor Shears has received his Bachelor of Science degree from Benedict College in Columbia, SC, a Master of Divinity degree from Gardner-Webb University, a Masters of Sacred Theology from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry at Charlotte Christian College & Theological Seminary.

Our Helping Hands Ministry recently had the opportunity to serve at the Sherwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, where we shared songs, poems, heartfelt testimonies, and prayer with the residents. The joy in the room was undeniable—it was truly a powerful move of God! 🙌🏽
And we’re not stopping there! This Saturday, our Helping Hands Ministry will continue to be the hands and feet of Jesus as they visit the BCD Hoover Empowerment Treatment Center to spread even more love and encouragement. #NewHopeAR
